How to take a Screen Grab…

For our website critique, we need to include screen grabs of our chosen website. I was unsure how to do this, so I asked Jeeves and found the answer! I have since tried and tested this and it works a treat! As far as I know though, this is only for screen grabs on a Mac computer.

Here’s How…

  • Full Screen Picture – Press and hold: Command, Shift, 3 to take a full screen picture. It will save as a PDF and will go straight onto your desktop.

  • Selected Screenshot – Press and hold: Command, Shift, 4 to change your mouse into a cross-hair. Drag it across any part of the screen and when you let go, it will take the selected screen shot. This is also saved as a PDF and goes onto your desktop.

Hope this helps any of you out there who were a little stuck – like me!!
