Website Critique – Part two

My existing websites – www.rebeccasykesphotography.co.uk and www.yourblushphotography.co.uk – are hosted by a local company called Cultrix. I asked them to take a look at my Blush Photography website and critique it for me. The critique they did was different from the one Genius Division did, as they did a full issue report for me.

They looked on my website and found all the errors on it. There were many broken links and content missing and Cultrix thought it would be easier for me to start a website from scratch rather than try and fix this one.

The issue report is actually 22 pages long! But they included a summary page, which gave me an indication of what was wrong with my website. As you can see, the results aren’t in my favour!

Cultrix provided me with a very technical critique, rather than the personal critique I received from Genius Division. I think both are important as it has made me really look at my existing websites and realise where I have gone wrong. I have then used this information to create my new website and make sure I didn’t make the same mistakes.
